It's actually pretty simple to defeat the twins, I'm making this forum so that people who are struggling on the twins can see guides that people put in. (please put in guides to help the players who are struggling on the 2nd hardest mechanical boss).

so you want an arena long enough to be able to run in one direction until spazmatism starts dashing so you can turn around.

when finishing off retinazer you can just fly up or fall down to dodge laser barrages

I'll put one in just in case nobody else does. Long asphalt platform (you can make asphalt from slime and stone in the blend-o matic bought from the steampunker) then get the megashark (it's worth the time trust me) with crystal bullets. then get buff potions (this is optional, but trust me when i say taking arenas and potions seriously is worth it) buff potions like ironskin wrath/rage regeneration, swiftness, and lifeforce potion (you dont really need the lifeforce potion because i beat them without it but it's nice to have) ok so kill the green one first and dont get both on phase two at the same time. just run dodge jump out of the way it's pretty simple. (warning i might be wrong about some things).

i mean i think it's good to have so you can outrun the cursed flames, i beat it first try with the asphalt so i guess it's optional.

Strategy
Don't stop moving
Use Gelatinous Pillion/Slimy Saddle to quickfall to avoid sticky situations
Take down Spazmatism before targeting Retinazer, and especially avoid having them both in Phase II
A box around you makes Phase II Retinazer unable to damage you
Weapons with short reach will not be good for this fight
Keep your distance
Avoid Phase II Spazmatism's fire breath at all costs (and generally focus on dodging its attacks over Retinazer's)
